Where a generic AI falls short for a Dutch BV document
A generic AI can write a decent draft. But a legally valid resolution for your BV needs safeguards it lacks. These are the eight key differences.

Can't I just buy een generiek AI-abonnement for EUR 20/month?
Sure, for the text. But you miss the §2:216 BW validator, the sequential document number, the 7-year audit log, and the eIDAS signing flow. If your BV is ever audited or ends up in a dispute, chat history isn't evidence, the Caproom Docs evidence bucket is.

What if I want to edit the document later?
Open the document in your browser and edit the free-text parts directly. Fixed parts, such as statutory clauses, test results, signature blocks and the document number, are locked. For further edits you can download a Word file from Pro.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data is stored in a data centre in Frankfurt. The AI runs at Mistral in Paris, without your data being kept or used for training. Email runs via Lettermint in the EU. The full list of providers and the data processing agreement are in our privacy policy.
Can my counterparty sign without creating an account?
Yes, via a secure single-use link that expires after 14 days. The other party signs in the browser; we record the time and technical details as evidence of the signature. Useful for NDAs and resolutions with several signers.
